Weekly Tarot Reading: January 24 to January 30, 2015

The Tarot reading from January 24 through January 30, 2015 promises an end to an old cycle. Endings are also beginnings, so look for something new and exciting on the horizon. This won't just happen, however, so be prepared to go after what you want.

Card 1: The World—A higher level of understanding is required for you to enjoy real success. This is a time of culmination, so honor it by meeting your potential. An old cycle is coming to an end, so leave inappropriate habits and feelings behind.

Card 2: Four of Swords—You are surrounded by calm detachment. Forces are pushing you toward seclusion, giving you the opportunity to examine your thoughts and feelings without distractions or unnecessary stress. This may come in handy.

Card 3: Death—Your progress is being blocked by too little transformation. Growth is being inhibited by fear of change. Set aside this fear if you want to advance.

Card 4: Eight of Wands—It is important that you make sure intentions are clear and well understood before any action is taken or precious time will be wasted. Keep communications open and flowing if you want to achieve success.

Card 5: The Devil—The material world has been entirely too seductive lately, but this is fading now. Act with subtlety and try not to be influenced by lust, trickery, or selfishness.

Card 6: Queen of Pentacles—It's a good idea to be protective of your own good fortune, and the good fortune of those closest to you. You have power and influence, even if you don't know it yet. See yourself as powerful and you will become so.

Card 7: Knight of Pentacles—You may have to play the role of the reliable and dependable provider in the near future. Say or do whatever it takes to get the job done, but don't compromise your dearest principles.

Card 8: Page of Pentacles—Don't be afraid to get dirty in pursuit of your goals. Show others you're willing to put in some honest work if it means you gain something from it. But now is not the time to do something for nothing.

Card 9: Ace of Cups—Others may see you as someone who can give and receive love unconditionally. They rely on your compassion to get through life. But someone may be looking to take advantage of you, so be wary.

Card 10: Three of Swords—Though you may hope you can successfully cope with the sorrow and pain that may be heading your way, you also fear that you will not be able to. But sorrow is healed by unconditional love and compassion, so don't be afraid to lean on those who lean on you.

Card 11: Page of Cups—You will have to treat the situation with kid gloves, but if you do it's entirely possible that you will achieve your desires. Someone new, something of your own making, is heading toward you at full speed, so get ready.
